That was quite interesting. Thank you for the Post.
I too enjoy learning the physics of our existence.
And for me, having once had the revelation of the
Living God brought to my heart and mind, instead
of pure science, which is awesome in itself, I am
witnessing the Creator's Handiwork.

He Who Created this Universe Holds it together
by His Power. It exists by His Genius.

We of human kind are magical, majestic and supreme!
We are indeed made in the Image of God.
We have a mind with which to consider all there is
and ask life's most important questions.

When I look up at night into the infinite darkness
above and witness the incredible grandeur of the
starry host, my heart is brought to worship and thank
the Greatest One for giving us life.

And to marvel that this glorious Creator will not allow
His Children to perish. There shall be life after death.
But only for His Children, the ones He Loves.
And His Love grants us this hope while we yet live.

The World beyond, like His Presence is specifically
hidden from our view at this time and place.

And there will be a special day unfolding where we
shall see Him as He is - in all His Glory.

How can I, a mere man state these things?
Because I have been redeemed from Sin and Death
by the power of the resurrection of God's Son.

And I cannot hold on to Him; He is holding on to me.

May any of us science types, who desire to know The Truth
find the message of Grace and Love in the pages
of the Holy Scriptures.

And Receive His Eternal Love.

What a Universe!!!

Father, we give You Praise. So may is be for all.

I love gravity, it always keeps my feet planted when I fly!

Show me one item in phyisics of the atomic structure that will assemble itself into life... From raw materials..

Not from a seed, cell division. Or birth-live or eggs...

It dosnt exist.

From the same TEDxCERN session. A cosmologist summarises our current best theory as to how the universe was created by nature.

Watch at YouTube

There are still many open questions and with luck we will, one by one, figure them out.

Incidentally, here is a link to an official selection of the talks from this event:

Credit is DuE !!! It is probably the 8th wonder of the world - Greater than the 3 Gorges Dam

Most of the population has absolutely N0 - Clue what is underneath the ground up their ! Just the construction photos are boggling beyond most imaginations. OMG stuff is real when you comprehend the magnetic forces

Let's hope they never let the genie out or we go blink - man cannot be trusted - given the right tools he will destroy himself.

Always wondered where they got the energy ?? - the don't need too know stuff.

Most likely it will be re- discovered thru child like innocence or the door bell will be rung.

No greater # than 0

Great posting

How about you two go back to the politics and fairy tales forum
and spew over there

Its pretty obvious you don't come on this forum to discuss anything remotely useful to do with helicopters

Do you even fly anything

or just come here to Hijack a lot of threads
with your expert arm chair propaganda about the world

ageing is manditory maturity is optional

Maybe Mr. Climax will treat you too a few photo's too show how small your brain is .

If you new what they were messing with - you would be flying a self propelled porcelain bus. Ploosh & Whoosh stuff : Not to be tampered with: Don't tell em what they do not need to know.

Could maybe be a source of a few problems we have - along with that DAM dam that may have screwed with the rotational axis by screwing with our mass - raising havoc.

I knew it in 1979 About the time you were a maybe a Zygote.

I can't fly or build - I buy em in the box - ready to go stuff -

I like the injected foam ones the best

Here's a Nugget: It's down for the moment I think they shunted it Note the SIze to Scale in the Photo's - Stuff you don't need too know

Benjamin Franklin shouldn't have messed with lighting rods either
at least not according to the church

I know what there messing with I have FLOWN my helicopters on the grounds of Fermilab and been inside several times
I haven't just read about it
Ive been there seen it
If your brain was large enough to allow you to read a profile
you would see I was much older than a Zygote in 1979
but Im happy with my little one at least its open
and dosnt have any religious blinders on
and Im done participating in this Hijack

How dare you threaten their mythology and skydaddies with factual science!!!!!!!

Theist hate when you stop them from placing god in the severe gaps of their very limited knowledge.

Welcome back Outty !!!!
Actually is MORE confirmation using the very tool itself SCIENCE

Ga Jillions of $$ spent looking fore the so called GOD molecule and still got nothing : Pretty good don't you think ???

Not even a living atom - but energy Life Stuff - Even you got some

But the REALLY COOL Science / Physic's part : That we KNOW exists and yet have NO definitive answers : NONE !!!!!

That could change the globe ?? If they can cypher it ??

EVERY THING -

Not sure if it is a wave or a particle or a watzit

But we struggle every day with it

Hint : They are Playing with the Globe's biggest magnet's and can throttle em

Fun !!!! Stuff !

What are you going to say when man can do it? is that your last excuse for your beliefs? Notice I said when not if. Most of the amazing work your seeing now has only taken place in the last 50-100years we are constantly getting more advanced. I'd be surprised if it hasn't happened in secret. Look at the uproar over using stem cells the thumpers have pretty much gotten their way and put the brakes on ground breaking work. Anyhow it seems science has and is providing a lot more answers than that crusty old book.

GreySenile

This is what you call rejecting reality and substituting your own. Notice I didn't say "My reality" your just rejecting reality altogether. Science in no way supports religion it continues to prove it wrong and to desperately try to make it fit your beliefs is pathetic. The funny thing about that is scientists were never looking to prove religion wrong. They were looking for answers to life's great questions it just happens to be that what's real and can be proven show just how silly the fools were who wrote those religious texts or more so those who believe them.

I find it ironic that this guy is talking about the instability of the our universe considering it is some 13.5 Billion years old

helicopter, you got pinked. Rightly so I guess considering the stated posting policy.

However, never see any of the "non-theists" get pinked no matter what they say about beliefs, God, faith, or religion. Okay...

Meanwhile- it is amazing how complex our world is; the deeper we dig the more marvelous and amazing it is. And this, for many, is consistent with belief in God the Creator.

And pursuit of science is wonderful too; but belief in science as the solution to man's ills is obviously mistaken. Because science can tell what, perhaps how, but not why.

And WHY is the critical, pivotal question. To find that, you have to look outside of physics.

And I agree we are all going to die, at least in once sense. The world as it is is not going to progress endlessly (thankfully)- it will come to a finite end just as it had a finite beginning. But personality, mind, "soul"; these persist.

Never, ever, ever, ever give up.

Hoggy, are you sure about that ??
did you know many scientist have turned to God's side after they had seen how the nucleus of the human cell works, and even one of those scientist left his research to become a priest

many scientist are theist. Hell evolution was put forth by theist working hand in hand with scientist due to the importance of what they had discovered.

There are no side's as you put it.

There is science, and a wide variety of theist and non theist working together.
