flying(of course)
Joe finally got me on the forum. we seeded the field this week and i have been watering it at night.
Heading to field early today. Frank, Steven, and Nando are heading up.
Its gonna be hot, but remember, I am only a few miles away and the A/C is cranking, plus the pool is perfect.
I hope a lot of guys show up. we need to discuss the possibility of rolling the field.
Bt the way, i mowed the day we seeded. I would rather not mow today, so the seed has a chance to take hold.
See everyone there!

I will remember to charge my flight battery before I fly ..I lost my orange Racer today because of a battery not charged..Completely my fault ..Lesson learned .Great time any how .See you all soon Fester, If You could of felt the thud and heard the noise when it hit ,Two thuds .....lol. best show of the day

spectacular crash
Thats right Todd,if you have to crash, a full speed, wing low pile drive into the ground(the floor to all my bronx buddies) is truly an impressive way to go out! I only regret that i was busy flying my own racer and didn't see the carnage happen.
It was such a great day, and today looks similar till later. Some of the boys are heading up again, for another fix of our sickness!
See you all there.
hey Jason, did you finish the new extra?

flying this weekend
Hey everyone.
I just mowed before the rain. Looks nice. Weather just may work out for saturday.
I am going to be selling off some of my electric fleet at real low prices. I want to get a 30cc gasser. Will have everything there this weekend ready to fly and sell. I use both Futaba and Spectrum. If it has a Spectrum receiver, you can have it. I will keep my Futaba receivers. Will have one or two glow planes too, cheap.
See you all there

Hey now . WOW what a weekend . Thanks to all for the great times and food. As I Figure my 12z out I will feel more comfortable in flying an having fun with the 50cc Ultimate biplane, its a (Futaba Moment) plus to work out some more bugs I feel when flying. Its getting much better. The Twinstar is an Awesome Plane. Would also like to mention the mud duck ,what a plane, its quite amazing.
Fishing was great the Girls caught a couple of fish on mister twister Yellow body black jig head . A large mouth and a small mouth. If anybody has a picture from Sunday please post them somewhere and provide link here.. Lets Figure a Weekend event Saturday/Sunday with night flying /camping ? If your interested post you ideas here .. See you on the field .

Great weekend, great flights
Here are some group photos from an awesome weekend.

I'm down for an over-nighter at the field if we get permission for it. I've not done any night flying nor have seen it outside of you-tube but I think it sounds like a blast. Anyone down for pylon racing using balloons and twine for pylons? a three line anchor will keep them from moving and I'll bring a steak for the winner :P

Good to see you all!
Always glad to find a group and place for RC! Thanks to all for making me feel welcome. Todd, thanks for the Mud Duck mention. I will try to bring it out again and actually fly it! LOL! I am in process of replacing the motor mount, which is 3/8ths plywood. I went to Lowe's for a "handy panel." They had 1/4. They had 1/2. Nothing in between!

OK, so I am tuned into this thread and will be seeing you around!

Sunday nite
Sunday late was good a little wind . Gary and I flew till we couldn't fly any more. Hope all is well . Working on the 100cc 540 maybe next weekend she will fly at the new field . Working on some mechanical issues nothing big just maintenance for the year .
I also maiden a few more planes . The T34 mentor , The spitfire , the mini stick and the small ultimate 46 with nito. It was with a dead stick landing ,I need some small washers for the main remote idle needle. All 4 new planes in air and all safe on ground again that's the way I like it ... the Girls caught a bunch of fish on worms ...Got to love the new field ...
