If you are getting Century scale mechanics, Be aware that they are grinding off the tabs that mount the vertical fin and putting a stainless steel hose clamp on to clamp the gearcase to the tail boom.. I called them on it.. I was told that the mechanics wont fit in a fuselage because the tabs initerfere......Not if you cut 1 inch off the tail of the fuselage like the fuselage instructions tell you to do..No quality control I guess...I told them to send me the gearcase halves with the tabs and don't you know they charged me for them

Who makes the best quality heli with unparralled service these days??

That's to bad....I have had a hard time getting follow up and parts before. However, I have sent them defective parts and gotten replacements with out charge in the past. Peter, has a good product. Nice balance between value and reliability. There is a gap in the follow up/customer service aspect. The economic reality has to be consider. There seem to be a lot of big ships for sale lately..

Century

Thats true, but at least funkey tells you to cut the 1 inch off...Century doesn't realize whats going on and they are altering good parts into bad ones.. I hope someone catches it anyway

just a note

Most people skip step 1 and it is most important..Get familiar with the instructions before beginning any model..Have some sort of understanding of what you are building before you build the damn thing.....My models come out NICEEEE!! I'm going to try to get pics of what the tail should look like when it's done correctly..

I have always like the CamO Airwolf that is in your gallery, you don't see much "flat red" in CamO jobs, and it works really well on the Fuse, but now they have changed the colors, to bad that Fuse is not larger

The tail

:

The tabs that mount the vertical fin are the ones they are grinding off and as you can see when you trim the fuse, it fits fine..
