Looking to add another micro heli to the hangar... How is the Nano CP X? Good choice?

Thanks!

I don't have either one but looks like a better choice would be the mcpx bl. It just came out this week. It might be a little too much heli for flying around inside though.

The Nano is quick on the cyclic, makes my 450 feel like a 700. Compared to my old mcpx, it is more durable. I stuff mine a few times per flight in the company lobby. Damage thus far has been scuffed blades and a crease in the canopy.

Heli-itis sufferer.

I like it

I've had mine since Christmas. Tough as nails, and lots of fun to fly in the house. If you are into 3d, I agree the mCPx BL might be a better choice, but I don't think you'll be disappointed with the nano! I have an mCPX2 and it's just a bit of a handful in tight spaces.

I was going to take up Origami, but someone said the local club folded.

Love it. Better than a stock mCP X.

The thing's a blast! Durable, and cheap to fix when it does break.

What the...? I didn't do anything! I was just hovering and it suddenly got a mind of its own!

I've had my Nano CP X for a few days now and I love it. I changed the blades to the included bullet blades which seem more stable and using D/R on low as it was pretty twitchy out of the box but now it is really stable in hover. It is so stable at times that it will hover for over 10 seconds virtually hands off... That AS3X stabilization is pretty impressive to me since I am new to all this FBL and 3 axis gyro technology...

Been practicing hovering in all 4 directions and some real slow FF around the house. This thing is a blast! Did lose it a few times and it hit the ground as I chopped the throttle. No damage, just keeps on flying. Great little heli for practicing in the house.

Get one and dont look back..Pick up some more batts and maybe a spare motor..I agree with the above post..This thing is tough! Ive had some pretty hard crashes without breaking anything and it flys like its new still..Also I was impressed for such a small heli, how stable it is! Very addicting little booger..It rained all day yesterday so guess what I was doing

It doesn't have a lot of power so you need to use good collective management when flipping it around. The tail holds extremely well for a motor driven tail. Best of all, the heli is tough as nails. I have bounced mine off so many walls and stuffed it into the grass 40-50+ times and have never replaced a single part. It is amazing how much abuse it can take and still keep flying.

I'm ordering the WOW BL kit for my Nano today. Motor is already getting tired after not much time, so it's time to go BL.

fwiw...

Try a stock mCPx tail assy on the nano...I use a Solo Pro t/r blade, holds very well in backwards flight, little to no wag...Doesmrequiremdelicat bending of motor plug wires to fit Nano board, but is really plug n play...

My nano has lost almost all power. Will not hardly go up. Can't find a problem. Could the motor be going out ?

Life is good. Better with a bunch of Heli's

Definately possible. Those micro brushed helis are motor killers You end up flying it much more often than large helis and put a lot more wear on the motors. They re usually a quick, cheap, easy fix.

Make sure the main gear is tight against the bottom and there is no up/down play in the mainshaft.

I've replaced 3 motors on mine and those are the symptoms of a dying motor or batteries that are dying.
