I have the Zenoah G231PUH. I converted over to use an electronic ignition. It ideals just fine, but when I get it up to almost lift off speed it boughs down to a point where it will die. I have done this with blades on and off. I know not to run the motor to long with out blades. I am using a life pack to power the ignition just like I do with my airplanes. I disabled the gov thinking it was the issue, but the same exact issue happens.

What could be the problem?

was it working properly in this helicopter before you converted it to EI?

If you're not flying a gasoline helicopter
You're paying 10 times too much for fuel!!
