Hey Guys,

Building my first 250 here. I've noticed the tail grips are sloppy. Is this inherient in the design or should they feel slop free like the DFC head?

I've pulled the blade grips off and notice the bearings with spacer are a perfect fit. This leaves to think they were designed to be sloppy or I'm missing something here...?

Any help here would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Raz

Hay
I think they are meant to be like like that, mines the same tail still holds well.

not really meant to be sloppy but they all are. The original tail grips for the 250 had two tiny bearing sets in it. Swap them out for the single bigger bearing if yours doen't have that already. be careful when putting it together - need to use loctite but make sure none gets into the pivot joints.

as long as it operates freely and bearings are in reasonable shape it'll hold well even with slop
