Vario fuse #9044. V-Tail H500. $750. New Benzine mechanics available separately No trades. I box, you ship.
Doors are hinged with many magnets and latch kit. Glazing fitted and attached with about 100 stainless nuts/bolts. Nose details.
Replaced V-tail Hoz Stab with metal foil with turnbuckles. Made stronger mount for doghouse. Removable with rotor in place.
Stock frame and custom wooden frame. Stock for weaker Vario landing gear and custom for more scale positioning abd better strength. Both included. Custom frame will allow easy removal of complete mechanics as a unit.
Vario skids can be weak, have many separate parts and aren't to scale. You can do stock or use the all aluminum pieces I machined. I started with longer, larger skids bent more to scale.
Made solid aluminum legs with idea to weld to skids. Could be bolted. The bottoms are scalloped to fit skids tightly at correct angle. They are parallel and inline from side and front views like scale. Some need some finish work (file and sand paper) to take out machine facets onm some of them.
To fit against the body and look more detailed, made metal body plates. These can be welded or bolted to top of legs. With a rubber (inner tube gasket) behind them, shouldn't have paint chipping issues like stock could.
This gives you an idea of what it could look like.
All in all, a little bit of work but worth the time to end up with landing gear that is all one piece per side and removable. I have as much money in the aluminum pieces as what I am selling the whole kit for today.
If the fuse sells, I will be selling the mechanics for it with some nice extras (battery holders and custom heat sink for ESC mounting etc. I will make a combo deal but won;t sell mechincs before fuse sells.
I really like the fuse and would like to complete it but need room and a diff. radio.
