Ditto on owning both. Took me awhile to figure out programming on Beastx but was pretty easy when I did. Flew just fine and I liked it........but.......vbar feels great. Sold BeastX and nothing but Vbars. 4 of them to be exact. 5.3 pro is a must if you ask me.

Quick...here comes my wife....hide that new Heli !!!!

Hey, someone just pointed me here. Is there some high school level childishness going on...I don't see anything.
Let's see, this is another BX sucks and Vbar rocks thread huh. A lot of ignored posts but I know what they all say.
All I see is BX - 5min and V-bar 6-7 min.
So? I don't care, what would this have to do with me?
Here come the trolls Mr "I can't see anything" sure saw that
OP, you will enjoy your Heli even more now and you won't get stuck in the future when you want to upgrade

Well, I got the vbar setup on the 90 SG and must say.. it flies WELL> We setup on bench, have over a gallon througth her and havent touched a setting yet. (been to windy to do the trim thing). only problem is, when I push the throttle, I gert to about 20_25% and it winds up fast, Id like to be able to use the throttle to get into the air then switch into flight mode for the gov to kick in. any recomendations and what I need to change to stop the running up in normal flight mode?
thanks

Sold my Silverline V Bar 5.3 Pro and ordered a new BeastX.

I've had about every version of every V Bar.

Still prefer BeastX.

Good thing for variety. That way I can sell the controllers I try and buy more VBars!

Whatever you like, I think we can all agree that we win!

Mini vbars have dropped in price, who's next?

Just too much work when I want to change something.

Even new servo horns means dragging a computer outside.

What??? You did not set it up correctly then. Once it is set, it is done, even if you crash, you replace the broken part and go fly.

Not if the servo horns are different.

My first set,I drilled myself.
The new set were stock.

The ball spacing was a little different and the heli was completely different in the air.

If the heli is not the way you want it...it requires a computer...or a Mikado field box thingie that costs about the same as a computer.

There's no getting around that.

I would agree if you change servo arms because of a crash you would need a computer to re-center them and make a few adjustments.

but considering what we pay to fly, buying a cheap laptop to set-up at the field is certainly attainable.
