I'm interested in this post as well. I am looking to buy some more batteries for my MCPX

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

also be aware the new mCPx BL that is coming out is 2S so the packs won't be directly interchangeable.

I might go with these 300Mah / 45C Turnigy Nano Techs from HK for $5.50 each.

I bought the lectron pro 300mAh 35C and they run about 2 min longer but they don't quite fit in the battery holder so I wasn't too happy about that. I hold them in with a zip tie and I'm guessing it throws off the cg a little. I am thinking about cutting off the battery holder and maybe sticking some Velcro to the batteries to hold them on.

I have Airtime skids on my MCPX v2 and i think the stock batteries & the lightning power ones fit in perfectly snug.

Now im thinking of getting the Miniaviation batteries 2 for $19 on their website. They show a chart where it beats the nanotech, the hyperion and the stock batteries.

A big thumbs up for the Hyperion, they blow holes in the stock batts,
The nano techs are also awesome and there is very little difference between those and the Hyperion. I have both, and would not hesitate to buy either again.

Good luck

I use the Nanotech and they have been great. Just put some white KBDD skids on it and the battery is a little tight but it does fit fine once you get it started.

I ended up buying more Lightning Powers , i would love to buy Nanotech at the $2-$4 each off HK but i just dont have that kind of patience to wait weeks on end.

I used the nano techs but the service life of them didnt work out so well for me. did a brushless upgrade with the HP05 and 120sr tail motor and switched to hyperion 550 mah packs. they seemed to last longer for me. the added weight did however seem to bog the heli down a little but great for collective management training on mild 3d
