Well after a fun day of flying and learning the basics I crashed enough times to break my landing gear in three spots and found I was completely missing a section of my landing frame. No stores had gear in stock so I decided to take matters in my own hands and break out the toothpicks and glue to get just a little more stick time in before the weekend came to a close.

The scotch tape holds the canopy together. I'm guessing that the cold weather is making the plastic brittle but it was a pretty spectacular crash so I'm not surprised by the damage either way.

Sorry for the sore necks. For some reason it always uploads my photos 90 degrees off and I cant seem to figure out how to right them again.

It got me off the ground but it is definitely not a permanent repair. It served its purpose though so in the end I would say it was worth the time.

So I'm curious to see or hear what others have done, some of those not so proud moments, so you could get another flight in. Pictures if you got em otherwise just tell a tail.

Why I have 4 of them

Fly with one and have 3 back ups

Good effort though and it got the job done

I've flown for over a week with NO landing gear on my 130X.lol...

Hand launch and then throttle hold/100% pitch landing.

I literally never use the word literally right.
