Attention Blade helis I remember ripping on you here on RR some time agao about not realizing you need to release a brushless MCPX. I guess you do like money.

Not only did you put a brushless main motor on it but you BOSSED it out with a brushless TAIL !!! Words are not expressing my excitment!!! If the BL tail didnt do it for me that fact you had enough common sense to put it on 2s did.

I know some of you are going to turn into crying female dogs over the asking price. I have also talked to people with brushless conversions and price wise I think its going to be a home run. Then theres not worrying about screwing up the AS3X by soldering to its board its already done for you. Im not going to even female dog about the release date just be sure its released and I will be happy!

If people still skeptical about it and want to wait for MCPX BL V2 I promise you I will Beta test it for you and test it alot. As a matter of fact Eflite send me one early I will post plenty of vids showing what a normal madman can do with it. They will surely be durability vids

If i'm not mistaken, listen to the podcast starting at 24:00 minutes and James, the product developer, says these are already in Champaign and waiting to go out. Sounds like it will be soon.

Crying female dogs ahahaha LOL

That there made my day.

And yet another heli to buy. I like to fly one pack after another so not worrying about letting the brush motor cool off is good.

its good... real good.

Power - 2:30 minutes of ballistic in your face wow power. followed by another minute of great power. I'm running 100-80-100 throttle curve and -90 +90 travel adjust on pitch. I like crazy but 100% pitch/throttle is too much and not needed even to bang it around. Big power loops... no problemo

Cyclic - initially very slow, I'm turning up the rates (120% travel, seems faster ) and may have to try the unweighted blades(comes with weighted attached). Compared to the nano its dog slow but that's not a bad thing. Does everything you can throw at it like tic tocs and pyro flips with ease. Stationary flips are not "under the table" tight like the nano. I see crazy cyclic getting away from the inexperienced people but hopefully I can still get it a little faster.

Tail - yup, it holds. Got pretty sloppy on purpose with the collective management and it never let go. First thing I did was take my tail fin off. My Mcpx and nanos hold better and piro more consistently without it. Tail will wag a bit and does not always hold dead on straight in tic tocs and other stick jammer moves but it never lets go. piro rate is also a little slow overall even at 150% travel.

Its better than my old upgraded brushless mcpx's, stock nano's and even my stock 130x's in how it flys. Gobs of power with a tail that doesn't blow out... what more could you ask for in a heli of this size. I just hope the durability is there which I had major problems with on my upgraded mcpx's.

Brain approved - GO BUY ONE! (or two)

Wow

Just watched a couple of vids on Utube. A brushless main and tail motor running on 7.2 volts. It's a screamer.

Does anyone know if they'll have different pinions?

Wonder how well it holds up if you bounce it off a wall?

I know the canopy sure doesn't seem as good as original v1&v2 one crash and its shredded
But I had nip canopy from original mcpx and it fits little tight but it works.

Definitely a great little heli

canopy

You are right about the canopy, one crash into a pine tree and it is gone,I also fitted and old mcpx canopy on the BL and it will work with a litle effort.
I also have a 2 cell BL mcpx with a dual brushed tail and this heli flys lighter because it is lighter with more power and a very good tail but I do get blow outs.
This is the Mcpx we all were wanting and hoping for.
I believe it will be as durable as the orginal except canopy

Just add a layer of packing tape to the inside of these thin plastic Blade canopy's. Makes them 'almost' crash-proof, lol!

Cheers,

I think for now only stock batteries but I'm sure real soon we will have options

The canopy was a disappointment as it only last one flight as the other ones could take a good beating

But that's an easy $15 fix so not worried the great flying heli makes up for it
