Hoot, did you try it before throwing it away?

I know how to test puffed lipos (not all are bad) but it would be another encyclopedia...since you chucked them and sound like you're still interested in E-helis, take a proven electric set-up and try my VCA/2 thing with it and I promise you that you will get your money's worth.

YES electrics are an investment into a different way of thinking and doing. I fly a 600 for under a dollar a flight now...used to fly glow 50s for $1.50 in 1999-2001

Factor for inflation I am saving 50% on every flight by doing some dirty work that internet trolls have no chance in hell of figuring out if I bothered to explain stuff that no one needs to know to really fly the piss out of an electric heli anyways.

My number of flights is above 25,000, about half are electric, so you can see why I did all this if I save about a dollar a flight

I'm happy to help anyone who is respectful and puts the effort into learning, but there is so much to learn about lipos and 90% of it is not necessary....VCA/2 and be done with it.

So if you're saving 50% in cost per flight, but only getting 50% of the flight time with electric vs. nitro, guess what? You're not saving anything! If cost per flight time (not flights) is your number one concern then a gasser is the cheapest way to go on a cost per flight time basis.

I was talking about same power or more than a glow 50 and same flight time.

Excluding inflation, I'm already lowering my operating cost per minute.
