Not true.
Kerosine and turbine might be an alternative.

I have two nitros, a 700 and 600 both are FBL. I fly them all the time. I like everything about nitro and like very little about large electric helis. Half the people who fly at our field fly nitro.

What I miss is a really good quality 35 size nitro heli like my old Shuttle ZXXXXXX. That was a beautiful bird which I sold when I left the hobby 15 years ago. Big mistake.

I know GAUI makes the NX4. I would have to see one up close before I decide if the build quality meets my need for a .35

I dont think the Turbine petrol heli can be thrown around like nitro, the weight must be an issue.

Quite frankly I don't care what you fly.
I have nothing but Nitro helicopters myself and I really need to get my butt out there with them and fly them more. Last year I think I flew 3 times. Between kids and other obligations I haven't done much flying lately.

My biggest draw to the flying field is really not the flying, it's the social aspect. It would completely bore me to death to take an electric helicopter down to the school yard and fly it around.
I would much rather hang out with the other guys and shoot the ****. Some day I may get into the electrics but for now I have what I have.

must go faster, must go faster.........
