I just got my conversion in to convert my G231 from magneto to electronic ignition. What is the best way to pull the flywheel?
Thanks
Joe

I made myself a puller using a U shaped aluminium rail with 3 bolts

The 2 outer ones line up with the 2 holes in the flywheel, and are of the same thread and size as the holes. The center bolt is smaller and rests on the crank shaft. You can use a nut on the center bolt to adjust the length.

Place this assembly over the flywheel an equally tighten the two outer bolts in a way that the center bolt rests on the crankshaft.

gradually apply more tension with the outer bolts. when you feel there is lots of tension a small tap on the crank will release it.

I hope you see the picture because this is hard to illustrate in writing.

j goodsell has it exactly correct ;

I had mine in the photo gallery but it didn't make it in the new file transfer's of photo's

- it's a piece of cake - I use aluminum angle iron I had laying around

It's really easy - after you get just a whisper of tension on it then warm the flywheel up a bit with you heat gun - Simple

Just don't grab it bare handed it will be warm
