what is the best gap (largest/smallest)between the clutch liner and clutch shoe
for a Zenoah G26

I use a regular business card to set the gap. Works good for me. I also read here that a dollar bill folded two way works good.

the heli is a scale scratch built using SSM mechanics which seems to be using a Vario clutch, the gap between shoe and bell without the liner is 2mm SSM technik tell me they use the vario liner
#830/69 16mmx 1mm and use 2 layers which is a tight fit with no gap.
