Hey guys I just bought a NIB TDR off a guy on rcgroups. He got it last month straight from Henseleit. There is a piece of paper that says I have to download the 2010 manual. He got this kit this year. From Jan. Is it a 2010 or 2012??? So confused. But I don't think a TDR kit would be sitting for 2 years. But hey I got it for 950 shipped

But TDR's are custom made and they make about uhm maybe 100 . When those 100 come in all the peope on the waiting list get notified and all sell out. When you got your 2011's Bill did it say you need to download the 2011 manual?

Original seller didn't state when he bought. Just that it was never built.

Like others said, not much different than a new one. Except the price.

I received my TDR in November and had a similar note. Must have thrown it away when I was cleaning up after the build.

The latest manual is Version 2010-2011, March 2011. My kit came with the following apparent differences from the 2009 version:
3 Bearing 0813. It appears that previous versions had only 2 of these bearings. Bearings are shown on Page 14 of the manual. I hand wrote on page 14 under 280mm the revised dimension of 205mm. I think there was an instruction sheet to change to the 205 dimension.
2 black bushings 0109 and 4 black O-rings as shown on page 10. It appears that previous versions(2009) came with both black and white bushings and black and red O-rings.

Every part in the kit matched exactly what is shown in the March 2011 manual.

Take your time assembling the kit and follow the sequences exactly as shown in manual.

Wooo Hooo! Got a 2012 TDR for a great price. Reggie( original owner) and myself agree des on a price for a "2010" model. But im going to make this right and give him a little more money. Happy New Years!

Received the kit last week.

Up to the assembly of the swashplate and found that screw 0400C and d is not included and not needed.

Got my TDR today. Just finished the canopy. Pain in the butt! Took 2 hours to do.

Found that a few parts were assemblied in the factory(I supposed), do you guys re-assemble them?

I normally do with Trex kit but this is not a Trex, hence the question.

Align kits, definitely yes. But for TDR, you can trust Jan 100 percent.

I disassembled, cleaned, re-loctited and reassembled just to make sure, none of the assemblies had been done incorrectly from the Hense' factory (2010 kit).
