Just got my self into a Trex 450. Came with a couple of old batteries. Found one of them to be bad an believe the other is near its end. So I'm needing to order a few. What batteries and size are you guys finding work best?
Thanks.

For a 450, find some 2100-2200mAh 3s packs, with a minimum C-rating of 25C.
As for what's best brand? depends on how much you want to spend.
The term "you get what you pay for" applies here.

25-30C 3 cell in the 2100-2300ma range will work great. Pick a brand and try a couple. If you like them, stay with them. Everyone has a favorite.

Which Batteries...
This is a fairly new company and is based in Nevada,,

I have been running these all summer and we have tried quite a few and now most of our club with both heli and plane flyers are using them...and the price is very conpetitive... and the best part is they work like much higher cost batteries... this is the one the I would highly reccommend:

Gens Ace are the best I've found so far and at a reasonable price. Problem is they sell out as fast as they get in stock. From my 450's,500's, 600's, 700's and scales, they seem to work the best

Exactly Right

That is what made me go hunting for other sources when I needed some batteries and they were all out of stock... I really liked the Gen Aces too, but I wanted a company that I could order from that has inventory.....
I am glad that I discovered the Haiyin's... I have not had to wait for restock and they work as good as the Gen Ace if not better, more like TP's... so I am sure you would be happy with these also... worth a look and a comparison.... I did and am hooked!!!!

I've tried many many brands in the past 6 years, been flying mostly electric. For now I've had great luck with the Gens Ace 30C, these are the only packs that I've ever had that I've been able to get up to past 150 cycles and are still going strong. In the past packs with go dead anywhere between 65 to 110 cycles.
Good luck.

I'm going to have to check them out. I love the gens ace and check regularly to see if they're in stock. I'll try the one you recommend and post here about them. I have no problem changing brands if the results are good.

I concur with gens Ace. I have these too and to be honest, I cannot tell the difference. Not saying they are the same, but they do look remarkably similar, have same dimensions and same weight. When under the canopy, I couldn't tell you if I just flew the GA's or the Glaciers. They are both currently out of stock, but Dale @ EP is honest and will tell you when he is getting the next shipment.
