How long do you keep lipos in salt water and what do you do with the witches brew afterwards?

Do most of you only balance charge every time you charge, or do you do so after so many regular charge times?

Its all earth!

I have always balanced charged and have never tried anything else even though I am a bit curious about the other options.

My understanding of the process is you wind up with a pail of salt water.

The process of putting the battery in the pail of salt water is used to completely discharge the battery while preventing it from bursting into flame. Basically the salt just makes the water conductive to discharge the battery and the water keeps the battery cool and safe.

LiPo batteries are landfill safe, so there can't be anything that they would be afraid of leaching out into the groundwater.
