Just an update. No merchandise delivered, no contact with Matt.

Regardless of the bleeding hearts, he's a crook.

Again, you ordered by credit card so you are completely protected. Why is it necessary to publicly kick the crap out of this guy while he is down? I hope you are never on the other side of something like this.

I appreciate the heads up and thank the OP. I actually almost did business with this guy on Helifreak, looks like I dodged a bullet. He has some negative feedback over there and another thread about people not getting there stuff, see links below.

I agree , if it wasn't for public forums like this I think a lot of people would be getting ripped off..........

Don't want to be in a forum like this ??? Then don't rip people off !

He was "one of the good guys". He offered great, reliable products and in the past, his service was exceptional. It is ashame to see this all fall apart.

@Marty....You're completely off base.

Kicking the crap out of the guy? Hardly

It's more like warning the community of a predator and thief.

I literally never use the word literally right.

This is one of the saddest threads I have seen in a while. I hope everyone gets their money back. More importantly, I hope Matt has the determination and passion to get clean and earn the trust back that he has lost.

Matt, it is never to late. It is better late than never.

Good luck to everyone involved.

Very sad.

Sad when a man loose the track for the reason stated. Easy to enter, hard to get out.

I hope you get your money/devices back guys.

Guys, I just spoke with Matt personally. He is going through some personal issues right now but assured me that there are several packages going out in the morning.

Surely you guys can have some compassion for a fellow hobbyist going through personal issues. Haven't we all?

Unfortunately...if you can't keep the personal issues from affecting the business, then you have to deal with the consequences. I can understand the guy needing to handle personal issues, but the responsible thing to do is hire someone capable of running the business in your absence. I've been researching a new regulator and switch for my N5C, and almost pulled the trigger on one of his products until I came across this thread. I will be looking elsewhere...

I understand and I agree, to a point. Operating a small business by yourself these days is no easy task in itself.

I'm sorry you feel that way and Matt lost your business. Best of luck to you, sir.

I'm just wondering, but Matt could be in depression. It's hard trying to live with that. If he is in fact depressed, I can imagine how hard for him things have to be now. Probably a message sent to the affected people informing there are problems could have avoided things happening now, but I also understand how the guys on the other side must be feeling. It's a hard situation from both sides.

I operate a small business by myself and it is indeed an incredible amount of work and takes a LOT to keep it going.

I fell quite ill about 10 months ago. My wife held my laptop over my hospital bed while I typed one message to my distributor..."in hospital...please take the site down". I actually fell asleep (or passed out maybe) in the middle of typing it and my wife was patient enough to wait for me to finish. It was months before I got back up to speed and I'm still making up lost time to this day.
Never dissapointed a customer though...not a one.

I think everyone in the hobby would have been completely understanding if it wasn't for the constant lies and ignoring people.

If you truly care about your customers and friends all it would have taken is one HONEST post the stuff wasnt going well and there was no eta on warranties. This thread wouldn't be here if he would have just been honest.

if you guys want to defend that then go ahead. my dad always said to never judge a man on his mistakes but rather judge him on how he handles them and I hold that to be very true
