I am the proces of building my new T-rex 250SE

Wasn't focussed enough, so I made a mistake with one of the servo's. (mounted it inside the main frame instead of the outside). Figured it out now, but have to dismantle the entire main frame in order to get it right. The screws of the mainframe are so delicate, they just don't want to come loose any more (guess I over-tightened them).

Any good tips how to remove te screws of the main frame? Any tricks?

Thx!

The best way is to Dremel a slot in the head and use a screw driverto remove it. If you used too much loctite you can use a soldering iron tip to heat up the head before trying to remove it!

Once you get it apart, don't put it together till you have one of these:

(above is 1.3 mm for newer 250 kits) and this one below is 0.9 mm for the older, original version 250 kits:

These actually fit the heads properly, are hardened, and won't round out before their time.

Buy the 1.6mm SHCS from McMasterr-Carr and never have this problem again.

best money spent on the 250 is a really good 1.3mm and .9mm wrench. The latest one that Align put in the 250DFC kit is actually usable - silver tip. The black tip Align wrenches are junk - basically black painted pot metal.
