Steve do you have one of these now or have held and used one a fair bit? How far off from feel would you say it is from 8FG?

OK it has loud and shake for the telemetry but I still want to know if it has a loud report and shake for the timer? My guess is that it has it but I want confirmation on this.

I need to know the answer to this question too. I won't pre-order this until it is confirmed that it has a vibration alarm available for the flight timer. I remember this feature was omitted from the 18's initial firmware.

assumption is for the uninformed.... You don't know how many times I haven't heard the timer go off because of the wimpy alarm on my 10.

Hi guys, looks like I'm a little behind in answering questions.

Timer, yes you can set a vibe alert for the timer.

Yes, I've been playing with one. The shape if very similar to the 18MZ but in a bit smaller package. The overall size is about the same as the 8FG. It is a very comfortable and solid feeling radio. It's honestly very high quality feeling. The overall changes they have made to it will be liked by everyone I think. The rubber grips on the sides and back make it work well for pinchers or thumb flyers. As I've mentioned, switch spacing for the shoulder switches is wider (same as 18MZ).

Stick modes are software selectable. Of course you will have to do the physical changes.

VTR, not really as you cannot change the curve type in the DR/Expo menu. You can do DR and expo at the same time however.

Let me know if I've missed any questions.
