I was trying to set up the end points on the gy520 gyro and I just saw the tail shaft moving inside the unit, I didn't pay attention before until now.
It moves maybe like .5 mm; Maybe it will create some tail wag?
Any suggestions?
I have the sport tail unit with align shaft in it.

All the screws are tight with loctite.
I do have a 450sev2 and I don't see the same play.

Or any 450 sport owner that can tell me if that's normal

Thank you in advance !

Mr Dan,
I will check them out tomorrow.
I replaced them not long ago, and I remember using green loctite.
Thank you, will post tomorrow

If you used the Align bearings, they won't last forever.

wrongler,

yeah, they are the ones I'm using, Align.
I'm going to order some ceramic bearings.
Maybe I'm over thinking and that play is normal?
The heli's been flying great for my style of flying.
I took the tail unit apart, replaced shaft and everything seems to be in place and bearings still smooth.

I just found a shim , I guess is one from the blade grips, really thin.
Any way, it is working and no more slop on the tail shaft

That's not normal. That means something is worn.
