Hello Everybody, finally got my X5 set up thanks to Big Electrics sale of the frame last month. Here is my setup before I go into the two questions I have:

Stock 910kv motor
DS 620 Tail
BeastX V3 Firmware
HS 2400-2500
11 +/- pitch
Stock Dampers
16t Slant Pinion
Stock Tail blades
Dx7 HH mode: rate at 67 IU1/2: 66-65
Stock Gaui ESC: Motor timing (Tried 15deg and 7.5)
BeastX Parameter D: red and blue flashing

It seems no matter the settings, the tail will wag 5-10deg. after adjusting gear mesh of main and tail drive gears. I have tried 60-78% gain on the dx7 with paramenter D at red flash, red, and blue flash. The tail will hold in backwards fast flight but acts very weak and looks to give out if collective is applied aggressively on climbouts and decents. Possibly a tail blade swap or beastx tweaking needs to happen?

Next, does the x5 tail kick hard right upon startup even with esc start mode on very soft? It will correct once headspeed kicks in at 30-40%. Thanks to all for any tips as I am new to gaui helis.

Hello, yes slider is solid on and off the tail servo. I repacked the tail bearings and it's much better. Had some tips on helifreak, lots of posts over there for the X5. Since then, I changed my endpoint throws in beastx and the tail is holding better at 2400 hs.

Beastx have strong tail holding but doesn't have governor for electric. I'm glad your heli fixed. Yes endpoint throw does have some effect,

The issue has come to an end! Thanks to all that helped. I found upping the headspeed to 2550 with the red dampers, parameter d on red with 66% gain, changing tail blades to kbdd (not extremes), and smoothing out the tail contol link hole for the guide link fixed all slop/binding. The endpoints are 1.5mm short on left/right throw, piros are consistent both sides and heli is tracking a quite solid hover with beastx pot 1 on 7 o' clock position. Still have a slight left kick on pitch pumps but that will be tweaking gain +/- and testing tail resolutions. Hope this helps anybody struggling for a wag free X5.
