When Obama was inaugurated on Jan. 20, 2009, according to the Treasury Department, the total national debt stood at $10,626,877,048,913.08.
Please read very carefully once again. Let's drop what it was when he entered office. That is a leftist ploy to work around the question.

How much debt has Obama accrued since he has been in office?

Here's a nice summary:

Pay attention to the trend colors. Green is getting better, red is getting worse.

Oh, and one other thing. A big part of the increase for Obama was he actually put all the off book budget items that Bush ignored on the books.

This graph tells the story pretty well:

No it is not, you stated that he has created more debt than all previous presidents, when he hasn't. Admit you were wrong about that. And as I stated in my other post, I said he has not been able to lower it since it has continued to climb. Plus if you looked at the pretty chart that is in the link I posted it shows you exactly how much it has gone up since he came into office. The Debt rose $4.899 trillion during the two terms of the Bush presidency. It has now gone up $4.939 trillion since President Obama took office.

This is one of the reasons I am not voting for him. Nor am I voting for Mitt, my vote has been and will go to Ron Paul. Which in your book is probably a vote for Obama, which I do not care what you think.

This means that Bush almost doubles what the debt was by the time he left office. So he raised the debt as much as all previous presidents before him.

Ok, let's use your numbers.

Bush 8 years(yes, that is two terms) Agree? 8 years?

$4.899 trillion

Obama 3 1/2 year(yes, that is less than one term) Agree? 3 1/2 years?

$4.939 trillion

According to your numbers, Obama has been in office for LESS THAN one term and has already accrued more debt than Bush did in TWO terms. Either way, You just showed that Obama sucks!!!!

One a side note, if he was to get elected again and stays on this trend, he will have accumulated $9.878 trillion in additional debt.

Here is the problem. On the Bush chart, those dates have come and gone. For Obama, this is a projection till 2017. The Iraq war ended because Iraq wanted us out, not because of Obama. Also the health care reducing the debt? According to ABC news(2010), the health care bill will be $940 billion over the next ten years. They show on their chart $123 billion. Even though the time frame is slightly off, the numbers are off big time.
