I love that feeling, getting home from the field after a good evening of flying and
Not having a busted up heli to fix........

I will agree, however, All you have left to do is go on line and buy more stuff! Sometimes that cost more time and money than a minor crash.
But you are right, I like seeing my helis in one piece!

when it happens, most of the time I swear, The fact does cross my mind as I pass the gate on the way out, "All in 1 piece, that feels good"

I'll agree to that! I would rather spend my time and money on something new, Instead of parts.

Had the same feeling yesterday night. Best thing about it was that it now has a different motor, esc setup, and higher HS. For some reason the first 1.5 flights after a change to the setup I take it very easy. I figure if something is going to go wrong it should do it within the first few flights . Then get more agressive with it after that. If it comes home in one piece my confidence in the setup is at an absolute high.

That is a good feeling. Getting home, just have to put things away and not carry pieces. Then have a nice dinner or something. It does feel like an accomplished day. I also like going home in the evenings like that. If I go out early morning and come home mid day, I still don't feel as accomplished for some reason. Hah.

On the other hand, it's easier to carry to the basement when you throw the blades, boom, etc, in the garage trash can

Sadly both of mine were much easier to carry earlier this week. My new N5c went in on Sunday and my 700n the next day.

Home in one piece is easier on my ears too. Wife:" What do you mean you need more parts?!!!".

"Whadda ya mean "There's a loose nut behind the transmitter!"?"

Yea even if I have other things that I need to get done say around the house or something; even something else recreational I feel like the days wasted if I didn't get out to fly.

Wholeheartedly agree with everything said here!

Awesome feeling to come home in the evening from a great arvo of flying, chit chat & fun to put away your helis in one piece. Then kick back & chill out.
