As someone suggested, only way to top this if the picture was taken by his girlfriend.

I think its completely wrong for him to be sitting on his butt watching while his daughter folds clothes and his wife builds an airplane. I don't know what kind of father or husband he is, and I could be completely wrong as maybe he just took a break from building or folding, but get involved with your child or wife, use this time wisely because it passes way too quickly.

Am I wrongly interpreting this?

You're absolutely right. . . he should be out flying!!!

The guy is selling the planks that his wife is assembling for income and the girl is folding clothes for the neighbor for more income.

Actually, that's more likely to be seen here than in Korea these days. Their economy seems to be outshining ours lately.

LOL - A typical SWEATSHOP, a major Hobby distributor just dumped a batch of airplane kits and she has to assemble them to be All Ready to Fly. Where and who do you think all those ARF's come from ?

Yea, what you don't see...
Is the guy is dead on the couch by way of a chop stick in his neck, and she is prying out the servos to sell them. The young girl has to be a robot; if she was NOT, she would be on the cell, face book or texting someone and the clothes would not get done until later/ ever!
The chop stick part cracks me up. My wife would probably work on an RC plane if I asked, but I'd have to rebuild it shortly after.

When I left Korea in May 2007 the economy was doing well. I lived there for 7.5 years. When I went back last year the economy was doing great!... or maybe it just looked great after living in the bad economy of the U.S. since I moved back. Well, at least things seem to be pretty good here in Texas but I still wish there was a way I could move back to Korea. For those who have never been there you don't know what your missing. I never had so much fun flying R/C helis than in Korea. Those guys are fun to hang with.

Yeah, people who think "sweatshop" thoughts when they see the above pictures are pretty outdated. Korea may have been a "developing country" 30 or 40 years ago but nowadays, you have to respect their position in the world.

I have to show my wife, but then again I don't think I'd trust anything that she'd build.

Can you imagine if he pissed his wife off. How tight do you think the blade grips would be?

When I was there in 2010, I never met a Korean person who wasn't polite and courteous. Always able to smile and be pleasant. The fellas I was with were a lot of fun. They took excellent care of us while we were there. I was embarrassed as to how little our group reciprocated when they visited us. Not to mention that our culture is rude and impersonal by comparison (at least it is in Michigan in my opinion - I am originally from Indiana). I enjoyed my time there for sure. I'd love to have had more time there, perhaps additional visits.

You would have a different view if you looked Korean.

They do not tolerate ugly, fat, 3rd world foreigner, etc.
