I have an engine that I have been having issues with lately. The engine is an OS 91 with a Kline equiped carb. I went through the following checks

Check valve - functioning properly
Fuel Tank Pressure - builds pressure and maintains pressure
Fuel Line - no leaks, flows without restrictions
Carb - this is where the problem is No fuel appears to flow thru carb and out spray bar. Needles opened and still no fuel. Remove needles and no fuel comes out (even with tank pressured), which I thought would be because the regulator is not receiving a pulse.

Since this is the first Kline I have ever had an issue with (have had many) this one has me stumped.

Any thoughts?

It's a demand regulator. No demand, no fuel. You shouldn't see fuel just running through the carb when the motor is just sitting there doing nothing.

Has the motor been sitting for a long time since its last use?

No it hasn't been sitting long at all. Maybe a couple of weeks. I have had the same thing sitting for much longer before with no issues. This one is quite odd.

Go to mid stick (carb barrel 50% open) and crank the engine WITHOUT lighting the glow plug. This should get fuel flowing to prime the engine. Watch your fuel line and once you see fuel reach the carb stop cranking, go back to idle, light the plug, and fire it up. They are VERY VERY VERY difficult to start without a prime first. Primed properly they should fire up instantly.

Check valve is in right....tank builds and holds pressure....I figure I will just take the carb apart and check for debris in spray bar. Don't know how to take kline apart though
