anybody know what the equivalant to an OS8 is on an enya plug?

The Enya 3 is generally regarded as a little hotter than the OS 8 but is very close. Most engines that like one will usually like the other. The Enya 5 and 6 would be quite different from the OS 8.

FWIW my YS 56 runs MUCH better with the Enya3 than the OS8. Not scientific, just anecdotal info.

Enya 3 is the way to go, only issue is that they are a bit harder to attach glow driver to.

Ran a OS 8 in my YS 56SR then tried a Enya 4 and love it,engine runs very smooth...

The Enya 4 is equivalant to the OS 8 (both med-hot) but the engine runs better with the Enya 4,Enya 4 also last alot longer than the OS 8..The Enya 3 is a hot plug which should be used in cooler temps because it burns the cold fuel better..I always run a 'med-hot" plug during summer and a "hot" plug during winter..

Yeah, enya #3 shall be equivalent to an OS#7 !

I use with great results at sea level & tropical weather, OS#8 but; when I go to fun flys in mountains and cold weather, Enya #3 is the way to go !

I have always considered Enya the highest quality glow plugs. They even have a 4C plug now: http://www.ronlund.com I also switch to a cooler plug in the summer to prevent pre-ignition.

OS plugs get spotty when they are over heated in a lean run. Looks like something peeled off in spots. My unverified assumption is they are plated rather than a solid wire. Enya plugs don't do that.

The Sonictronics style twist on Ni-Starter and caps will fit the Enya plugs.
