The thing that most bothers me about Barack Obama is his unearned narcissism. His smugness and arrogance are beyond the ability of science to measure. I don't mind someone being a bit cocky or even arrogant, IF they have the accomplishments and achievements to back up the attitude.

Barack Obama isn't fit to tie Neil Armstrong's shoelaces.

Looks like this was taken from a MIB clip of Will Smith looking out into sky or the celebratory pic of "I just cancelled our space program"! Neither should be mentioned in the Honor of Mr. Armstrong.

Bush cancelled the Shuttle program and started the Constellation program to replace it. In 2010 Obama cancelled the Constellation program.

Just sayin'

Yes? You have a question?

Subsequent to the findings of the Augustine Committee that the Constellation Program could not be executed without very substantial increases in funding, on February 1, 2010, President Barack Obama announced a proposal to cancel the program, effective with the U.S. 2011 fiscal year budget, but later announced changes to the proposal in a major space policy speech at Kennedy Space Center on April 15, 2010. Obama signed the NASA Authorization Act of 2010 on October 11 which brought the program to an end despite promises to fully fund space flight during his Presidential campaign in 2008,but Constellation contracts remain in place until Congress acts to overturn the previous mandate. The program has been replaced by the U.S. National Space Policy of the Barack Obama administration. NASA announced that it had selected the design of the Space Launch System in September 2011.

Maybe if the economy was not so bad when he took office he might have been able to continue the program, but it was not within the budget.

But yet he wants to feed, house and educate the lazy pieces of crap that cross our borders illegally at the expense of honest, hard working Americans so that he can get and keep their vote.

Sure thing.

Makes a lot of sense.

As have almost all the last presidents and I do not agree with him on that either.

Now back to the original reason why we were talking here. But good job of trying to steer away the main subject.

Not like this administration.

Past presidents have not sued the states just for trying to protect there honest hard working citizens from illegals squeezing the life blood out of them.

Looks like your are afraid to comment on this matter.

Why?

Sadly, NASA is transitioning from being a highly respected nonpartisan space exploration agency to just another arm of Obama’s political operation -- wasting tax dollars on friends, diminishing America's global leadership in space exploration, and ensuring that if we continue down this path, we will fall behind China, Russia, India, and others. This will have dire implications for our economy and national security.

Bush cancelled the space program, not Obama.
To pay for the new technology development, the budget calls for a complete stop in NASA’s Constellation program, the rockets and spacecraft that NASA has been working on for the past four years to replace the space shuttles.

“We are proposing canceling the program, not delaying it,” Peter Orszag, director of the Office of Management and Budget, said Sunday.

The proposal would officially end aspirations to return astronauts to the Moon by 2020 — President George W. Bush’s “vision for space exploration” developed in the aftermath of the loss of the space shuttle Columbia in 2003.

In place of the Moon mission, Mr. Obama’s vision offers, at least initially, nothing in terms of human exploration of the solar system. What the administration calls a “bold new initiative” does not spell out a next destination or timetable for getting there.
