I going to ask a question that has probably been asked before but I can't find the answer. Have a Raptor 50 V2 converted from 30 V2. I am using an OS 50 Hyper engine and a Futaba 6EX Radio. My setup is,
EPA, 100 and 100
Pitch, -4 at low, +2 at mid, + 8.5 at top end
Pitch curve, 18-38-55-75-100
Servo arm length 11mm C to C
Also is it better to use the shorter C to C on the servo arm for more authority or longer C to C and lower EPA to get what I want. This is just for normal flight mode. Have not setup throttle curve yet because I do not have the parts yet to install the engine, in the mail.

Not sure I understand the question. You will have more resolution closer to center, but not much throw. It's a trade off. I presume you're using push/pull? Set zero by finding 50% in your servo monitor screen and setting the wheel 90 degrees to the servo. You can use sub-trim, but I prefer not to. I always try to set it up mechanically by flipping the wheel or finding one that lines up with the splines.

Does this help?

Thanks for the reply. My radio does not have a zero monitor screen but I have outer ways. Have managed to get what I need now like you said have to play with wheels to get it right.

Not sure I understand your question either. But I think you are asking how far to mount the ball from the center of the servo.
If so... Right out of the manual it says"Mount the steel linkage ball 13-15 MM from the center of the servo horn"
Also, you can find about anything you need to know about a Raptor here.

My R50 V2 manual says ball spacing is 10.5mm.

Right now my link length is 10.5. One person suggested using the shorter length because the servo torque is only 61oz. The servo's are Hitec 475's the radio is a Futaba 6ex. So it was just to work the settings to get the output I wanted. Which now is -4,+5,+10. With a pitch curve of 0-30-60-77-95. That is what I have so far.
