Can't tell from the pics, but does it have carbon frames and full metal head and tail? I've also read some posts questioning the metal quality on Gaui's...is this still an issue? I've never owned one, but this could be the first as I've got a couple 37's laying around...

McKrackin
The blades are the most expensive crash part and a pair of 425's are cheap compared to 600's.
The blades always break on a 50 too.
A 500 with 425's sometimes spares the blades in a crash.
So don't really compare the cost of each part...Wait to see what parts actually break.
I crashed my Trex 500 a LOT and it never tore up much and only broke the blades half the time.
A tip over on my 600 cost $120 minimum
You're telling me something I already said and I can't remember ever trashing mains on a tip over...

Not really talking to you...Just expanding on your crash cost statement.

I have busted three sets of blades on tip overs...All with Align FBL too

I'm not concerned with how many blades you broke on tip overs or anyone else for that matter...It's more a figure of speech than anything.

50's cost a lot more to crash is the point.

I literally never use the word literally right.

You're telling me something I already said
Where did you say that?
You said "I hope parts are cheap"
McKrackin said it'll probably break fewer parts. Oh, and he also said 425 blades are cheaper which is obviously true...but you didn't say.
Sorry if I'm being a stickler here. LOL
and I can't remember ever trashing mains on a tip over...
That's not what McKrackin's saying at all???

Crash parts "could" cost more than a 50 size heli so even though the NX4 mains are cheaper, the crash cost total could be about the same. Some 500 size helis cost just as much as a 50 to fix.By saying "I hope parts are cheap" means i'll have to wait and see when they come out.

You're good at trolling trying to stirr up drama.Sorry by saying I can't remember upset you .
Maybe you two need to make another thread before trashing this one..

90% of the GAUI X4 parts are compatible. Please check the link below for cost of parts. Only things really not listed are Frames, Clutch Parts, and Motor mount.

This has been done before but it had a .15 engine and was a dog.
it was a QJ15 with all aluminium parts except main blade grips for less than 300 bucks from helicopterhobbies.com powered by an OS .25 airplane engine. https://rc.runryder.com/helicopter/t42602p1/

It will work for sure!

Make sure you have the latest 5.3 firmware ...express or pro

Use 3M tape and hard mount with one single layer and
have a tight strap around the vbar , good to go mini nitro!
Cheers,

Raven
