Can you still get enough cyclic with that amount of pitch?!

60% of the time, it works every time!

Absolutly, it still does rolls as it would on 14 degrees. These things need a lot of pitch for them to really go.( for me anyway) 14 degrees just doesnt load it up enough. Why have a high power setup if you only run low pitch? Doesnt make sense to me. I

I dont know why people dont try new things it seems everyone just copies each others setups. Theres no reason why we cant step ouside the square and try different setups. As long as you got a ball tearing motor and good esc/gov and batteries it easily pulls 16.6 degrees, i reckon it can go even higher, but am happy with my setup

Vader869, you're right. We should not follow each other around like cattle going down the slaughter chute.

However, it is important to give the whole story. For instance, high collective pitch combined with high headspeed on the Goblin will draws very high amps from the power system. This will likely cause significantly shorter battery life.

Most of us are running 10,000 watt motors. Except for speed runs we really don't need and can't even use nearly this much power.

I find the Goblin to be agile enough at ±13° collective. But if someone else likes extreme pop, by all means kick it up a notch. Just don't come crying to us when you puff your packs.

Yeh Rexypilot i forgot to mention the downside to it. It definaltly suffers in the flight time department. But ive decided to live with that, its only a matter of about 50 seconds so for me its worth it. i just carry 2 packs with me.

Sure it goes ok on 13 or 14 degrees pitch, but 16 degrees just makes everones jaw drop when the see it. However as i said im running one of the one of the best motor/esc/gov setups, im not sure it would be much good with that much pitch on a 4035 series motor. Im thinking of trying a 750mx though as they are 100g lighter and apparantly are as powerfull as a scorp 4525 ultimite.

Oh about puffing the packs....this does not happen to me at all. Im running gens ace. They get fairly warm but show no signs at all of puffing and have had heaps of flights, even ran them down to 3.2 volts per cell....no problem at all.

16 Degrees Pitch
Just a matter of cycles, they will puff soon enough working them like that!
TP and Gens Ace will love you.
