Yes. The DJI NAZ"A" GPS addon works as intended. Position hold is spot on. Behaves as a unit costing much more would. I do not care for the IOS modes though.

I have the DJI NAZA, how do I get the GPS add on. DJI NAZA says it will be out in June, but I can't find out anything about the GPS add on.
Is it only for position hold or does it also have return to home function ??
Paul
Got it.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

Here is where I get all my multi stuff from. Fast and friendly service, I would e-mail him to verify they are in stock.

Features

RTH (Return-To-Home)
IOC (Intelligent Orientation Control)
Position Hold
Low Battery warning.

Little bit of a pisser because I had a naza and upgraded to the Wookong for these features. Could have spent $169 instead of $1,000, oh well

Don't feel too bad about spending $1000 to get the Wookong. It is a better controller than the Naza particularly if you plan on using the DJI camera gimbal controller. Wookong has 400Hz vs. Naza 50Hz frequency on the gimbal controller. Many other thing better on Wookong like waypoint. Of course, a Naza upgrade could change all that.

I also purchased one.

Now the only thing I have to do is get the Naza controller to arm the motors if my quad. This has proven to be a real headache.

Another endorsement for the NAZA-M with GPS. Position hold is quite remarkable.

Works great. I built a Y6 over the past couple days and put a Naza with GPS in it. I finished it a few hours ago and assigned the gains to knobs on my DX18. Got it all tuned in about 3 minutes to where it will sit motionless. I just took it out in front of my house and took this pic with the lights on.

Let me repeat, I TOOK THE PIC. Took it off, hit GPS lock, set my TX on the ground, pulled out my cell phone, took the pic, put my phone back in my pocket, picked up the TX and landed it. Hell, I could have gone inside and grabbed a beer while it was sitting there and drank it while waiting for the low voltage failsafe to land it. I didn't, but I could have.

That's with a grand total of 6 minutes total flight time on a brand new Naza-GPS on a brand new Y6. I'm impressed. It is everything I hoped it would be, and it is awesome.

I pretty much did the same thing. I think it took all of 10 minutes to dial in the gains with my TX and then switched X1 and X2 to the Gimbal.
