I am new to 2.4 and this will be my first model to set up. I will be installing the receiver into my falcon and wasnt sure the best way to mount it and route the antenas. I know they need to be spaced at 90deg. but do you secure them and which direction should them face?
thanks
Jeff

I generally use Velcro to attache the RX to the mounting point. I usually use a wrap of Velcro around the RX to keep it secure. There is not specific arrangement of the antennas that is needed other than trying to keep them at 90 degrees to each other. On my Raptor90 the RX is up front and one antenna runs straight up and the other runs straight forward. On my Trex550s the RX is at the rear and the two antennas are mounted pointing downward at 45 degrees from vertical (90 degrees to each other). Both have proven to be rock solid. I use small diameter plastic tube (inner Nyrod, drink stirring straws, etc.)to route and protect the antenna. Keep in mind that the actual antenna is the bare wire portion on the end. Keep that away from carbon fiber and other things like the battery, etc. that could block the signal. There are photos of both installations in my gallery.

i always use foam tape, remember it's the last part of the antenna that receives the signal.......
