I just helped a friend of mine convert his 600N to FBL using the DFC head. I have the DFC head on my 700N and the dampeners are hard plastic. The ones that came with his head are your typical rubber dampener. Is that the correct one for the 600 head or should it have a hard plastic dampener as well? The head kit did have the silver bolts so I would think it is a newer head kit but I just want to make sure it has the correct dampeners in it.

These are the newer Derlin(hard plastic) dampners for the DFC head. The 600 kits I purchased did not include them, but that was before they came out. Either will work, It is advised to make the change, which will transform the head to a rigid head. I found I liked the softer dampners better, but due to the link arm design the Durlin are nessary.

The 600 head came out with the proper bolts. The only head that had the bolt problem was the 700 which came out first. The way to check if you have the revised bolts is to see that a shoulder on the bolt comes out of the down link and that sholder extends into the grip arm.

After making the switch to the Durlin dampners I did not like the way it flew (shook) and removed the head from all my helis. I was told yesterday the dampners need to be broken in, I am not sure I agree with that statment. But, I didn't want the dampners to break in my heli with the shaking.
