awesome!

Do you know how dirty and energy intensive it is to refine aluminum containing ore???

The AGW goons are going to HATE this technology!

It looks like it's a closed system. Every time you re-fuel, you also drop off your oxidized aluminum to be recycled. So once there's enough aluminum in the market, mining ore slows down as recycling aluminum oxide ramps up.

You still need a source of electricity to recycle the oxide, but not as much as refining new ore.

Eventually (day one?) you have a market saturated with aluminum oxide so you only need enough new aluminum from ore to accommodate market growth. (and to make-up for spillage, etc.)

But this whole thing stinks like an investor scam. If it were real, there'd be an engine. But there's just a PDF... so it isn't real.

Great! just great!!
Considering that aluminum has been linked to alzheimers and the fact that most people don't have much of a clue about how to drive in the first place...

funny. I remember reading an article in Popular Mechanics in the mid 70's about feeding aluminum wire into a rotating drum bathed in water. They actually had a running vehicle. Never saw another thing on that technology ever again.
Me thinks the inventors got dead or bought out by big oil.
