CY engines
For those of you running the new 29cc cy engines, during break in running a few tanks of fuel thru it at low rpms with a mixture of 32:1 is it normal for the exhaust to have oil spatter? is 32:1 too rich, I am using a very good Klotz racing oil

Yeah the croc theme went out the window because of price for now $83 for a plain primed canopy plus the paint job is out of budget at the moment

Got the hook up on this canopy so jumped on it I like the larger canopy a lot

I'm running 25:1 (5oz per gallon) and the oil splat is due to tuning it too rich which I intentionally did for the first two tanks

Then I started leaning it out to the current settings and no more oil splat

I am running My Mongoose at 3.5 oz per gallon. it cleans up the exhaust a little and still runs really good. I have been running this ratio in this engine for 4 years.

@BeltFedBrowning you have a CYxxRC engine?? if so, good to hear you've had it for 4 years. I just put a CY29RC in this goose, have a G260RC in the yellow both using the same fuel mix

Another successful mongoose project
Had a great time yesterday flying the mongoose! Just tweaking the Futaba 750 and it's dialing in great! Really loving the big bird in the air flybarless. Practically don't have to touch the sticks until FF Pics Added

I got it from Vario, thats where I'm gonna strap the battery so that I could have plenty of space for the wookong components.
