I know we talked "speed" offline but you are not registered.

PM me name, class, and T-shirt size to put you in.
Already know what you are flying.

I would say a TDR or the Diablo will be top contenders for the speed runs.

Are Compounds eligible to compete in the Unlimiteds this year?
The Trex 700 that guy had last year looks like it had some real potential if only for a slight tweak with his design.

Time constraint on IRCHA Jamboree Events

For obvious reasons I will be cutting resgistration on the Speed Cup event at the IRCHA Jamboree. There is not enough favorable daylight to fly this time of event safely for more that 5 hours. The very long approach from the East or West means the sun could be in your direct field of view if too early or too late in the day.

I am projecting 11am to 4pm as the limit in the morning or late afternoon. It is a difficult event in itself, I rather be safe than sorry.

With 55 entries at 3min/run with 1 minute turn around, is 3hrs 40 minutes for 1st round, and then 40 additional minutes for the top 10 to try a 2nd round, with barely a break between rounds. That is hoping for seamless runs, no equipment malfunctions or electoral recalls.

We are at 43 pilots entered a few with 2 entries. That leaves about 10 spots avaliable.

If you know someone that wants to participate in the 2012 IRCHA Speed Cup, tell them to hurry, the door is closing.

Thanks

Santiago

Come one guys, please REGISTER.

This year the Open class allows you to modify your machine as long as you dont use a full body as in Unlimited. There is also stock class.

Santiago,
I registered to volunteer for the event, would there be a chance for me to take a turn at competing? Every Speedcup needs a Flybarred Nitro Freya, dont it!?

If you are not comfortable with me participating its not a big deal. Let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Howard
