I got out there for two packs. Was not bad if you can keep the sun off your back. Couldn't stay. Today is my 15 year anniversary. Going to make hamburgers for dinner lol!

Have fun while it last!

Yesterday (Wednesday)

Got to fly the TRex 500 five times and the Logo 500 four times yesterday.

YES, I finally got all the issues with the Logo resolved. The tail wag was coming from a malfunctioning RPM sensor. The Hyperion wasn't working well (I guess) because when I removed it an flew throttle curves only - no tail wag. Installed a Hobby Wing sensor and re-initiated the governor and no tail wag. Yeah!

Well, great... tonight I'm starting to feel the very beginnings of an illness. Mild chills, body aches, sinus congestion... that just figures, on a holiday weekend no less.

Depending on which way this goes, I may not be flying this weekend after all.

I hope you get well fast you don't want to be sick on a holiday! Although that makes you the ideal employee, but you want to be the ideal Heli flyer instead so take some good meds (call Jimmy) get some rest and hopefully we will see you Sunday or Monday.

I just finished reading "the last chapter of whats the use/ or how to fly Helicopters"

Thanks guys, I'm feeling okay today, no strange symptoms, so I guess it was a false alarm. Got lots of good sleep last night, so maybe that did the trick.

I'm still planning on being at the field tomorrow, pretty much all afternoon.

Well, I didn't make it completely unscathed... I may not be down with a traditional cold or flu, but judging by the subtantial amount of pain I'm now experiencing in my face, I'd say I have a nasty sinus infection.

Head doctor

Splinterheart, like Oppie says, get some good drugs.

Sounds like you need a head doctor to "shrink" those sinuses.

Get well soon.

I took a couple Sudafed this evening and it helped quite a bit. I'll be sure to bring some with me to the field tomorrow. Haha!

You and your Logo were missed today All the club Logos were there but your's. There was a Logo impersonator, when we took the canopy off, it was just a Trex 700E trying to look like a Logo. The giveaway was the noise it made but it had a great looking canopy (very Logo like. Sorry you missed out.
