If posing for a photo with two pretty girls is enough to get a man thrown in the dog house, then I guess I can add that to the long list of things I'm glad I don't have to deal with.

In the doghouse
It might have something to do with the proximity in which his hands are positioned on the lovely Gaui Girls!!

well I finally figured out the problem with the motor shutting off in flight. It was the wonderfull Bavarian Demon acting up, this is the second one and have had problems with both!!! The throttle signal is only a pass thru in the unit but something is loose or not soldered correctly.
Using the process of eliminations I changed the ESC, then both satellites, but still the problem persists. Then I changed the 3sx out and put in the Align 3gx and that cured the problem. I know everyone thinks the Align unit is a piece of crap, but It sure is out performing the $500.00 P O S Bavarian Demon!
If I had spent as much time flying this summer as I have jacking with the Demon problem I would be flying as good as Nader HA HA.

Sorry for your problems Bob! and those Germans are hard to deal with! It took me pages on rcgroups a trip to IRCHA and a lot more before they replaced mine. Oh and they didn't give me a upgrade. That was a mistake one which they came back to me about.

being away I am forgetting everyones online names lol!

I have delt with Santiago and Danny the US distributor for Bavarian Demon and have been very sucessfull in getting warranty replacements. Why would you deal with the people in Germany when it can easly be handled in the US?

I dealt with Danny, but at first they didn't reply. It took the guys in Germany to finally get them to respond. All the guys here were saying I didn't have it set up right. My issues were not easy to explain. It was as it the gains were set 170% Most likely I had a bad chip, but because I was able to get it to fly with 60 expo with a tick it was my issue.

Greg said that his Gaui X3 kit was delivered today. He wanted me to let you guys know that he's open to offers just in case any of you guys are interested in buying it. He's already got a 450, so the X3 box is going to stay sealed, he said.

It's the X3 basic kit, so no electronics are included. Here's the product listing on Helidirect... CLICK.

If you want to get in touch with Greg, let me know and I'll pass along his phone & email.

Yes, made it to the field both Sat and Sun after 4:30pm. Was hot but bearable. Was alone there except for Sat as Calvin got there just before I left. Got 8 flights in each day.

I went out at 12:30 Sunday. Warren showed up and got in a couple of flights. I stayed until about 4:00 got in 6 flights, the temp was 92 in the shade. Next week should be much cooler. The Bavarian Demon works great on the TREX 600, guess it just dosen't like 8.4 volts.

@Bob: what is the spec voltage range for the Bavarian Demon?

@All: received the windsock from Hobby King. I will install it on Fri or Sun. Hobby King seems to have got better with shipping speed.
