Can D3 use 0412-303 instead of 0414-471?

Also, what is the part number of the black boom?

the sdx50 shaft will fit but it isn't a hardend shaft like the d3 one
the d3 shaft is an upgrade for the sdx50

it will be like using a freya 60 shaft in the freya 90

if you give the shaft too much of a hammering it may bend
but at 1/3 of the cost it is worth thinking about if you don't do hardcore 3d flying
if you do try it it may be worth not using 710 or 720 main blades stick to 680/690's

Don't go there Rudy. That model is far too valuable to risk using a non hardened shaft. Routine flying may not cause a bend, but you can't always account for non-routine stresses in flight.

404651 should be the boom for which you're looking.
