Here's a diagram of how to wire your ESC to 2 separate packs. You don't have to use the BEC part.

In order to keep voltage ripple to a min, please use the largest connectors you are comfortable with, and make certain they are soldered well...

Can you post a pic of your set up?

Well I can tell you already that I powered the bec pro to both flight packs. the becpro is then plugged into the reciever aux2 and extra battery or bind port. I have a seperate reciever pack to power just the raido and vbar. The extra reciever battery is plugged into the first battery port. Right now I can turn on the 7.4 reciever battery and run the raido only. Or I can unplug the 7.4 power and plug in my flight pack (12's) and power everything including the motor, raido and vbar. Thanks for the help, by the way.

I flew it once with just the 12's and flew fine. I also flew it twice with both plugged in with no problems at all. Which helped when the motor power cut. I still had raido and was able to auto. Lucky I guess?

The single pack powered BEC is easier on it and will give higher current to the receiver. I'd still like to know why your motor is shutting down though...what is your ESC "current limiting" set on?

Is all of your flight gear rated at 7.4V? If not then you'll have to use a voltage reducer such as WR BEC or your BEC pro. Then you plug in your separate receiver batt to that, and the BEC into the receiver and FBL unit. Set the servo voltage you want before you plug in the reciever and FBL unit.

Now it is starting to make sence. A little, I dont have my BEC pro wired correctly. I wonder if I hurt my BEC pro. I have the main power to the BEC pro wrong and the way I hook it to the reciever and the vbar is wrong. I have both BEC plugs going to the reciever. this is all helping me alot. Now all I have to do is try what I'm thinking. Thank you and as soon as I can get to it I'll let you know whats happening next?

I dont know if you would call it a brown out of not. It is shutting off and I have to auto it down? Later it will start again and do the same thing everytime. Nothing is hot at all.

If it's only counting 11 cells when you plug it in then what's happening is the ESC is "low voltage cutting out". You need to make sure it's set to read all cells fully charged. That's your problem, not the BEC.

BTW,
If the lipo's aren't charged, you'll only get 11 beeps. The pack's have to be fully charged so the ESC reads full voltage, thats when you'll get the 12 beeps .
That one thing I love about my Castle esc's.If I plug my pack's in and the esc gives 11 beeps,I know I didn't charge them.Keep's ya from flying already flown pack's if you make it a habbit of hearing the beeps before doing anything else..
