Hey guys was just wondering about the fuel magnet. I have heard that they break down over time and leave a mess in your tank. I would really like to find something to keep the mixture from go lean at the bottom of the tank. I am running a cspec os 90 with a cline and a modded carb. Read somewhere there is a new clunk that works like a fuel magnet but doesn't break down anyone know what that is.....

Thanks
Brandon

I personally really like OS bubble-less clunk. Work really well with both crank pressed and exhaust systems.

That's the one fixing to order 2. The OS looks good but doesn't look like it traps fuel...

Beware of the Lynx filter, I went to that after a crash instead of fishing in the tank for my old fuel magnet. Ran several tanks over several days and was going lean midway through a tank of fuel. Changed back to the fuel magnet and no problems now. As long as you keep it wet with fuel, ie, fill up your tank after each flight, don't let the magnet become dry, and you will be fine.

If you worried about lean runs, you can try to a fuel bladder. Here is a link to a post where Tim Jones explains it its on the second page. Its very easy to do on a 700N.
