Has anyone tried transplanting the mCPX board into other helis as a flybarless unit? Perhaps even using a seperate receiver to have straight throttle and rudder channels?
Using something like the TheSteve to get a PPM output from the 4-in-1 seems ok for the throttle channel, but not so useful for going into a nice HH gyro. It would be easy enough to bind another rx and get the rudder channel straight.
I know a lot of things will have to play out just right and the flybarless parameters are non-adjustable; but, has anyone given it a go?
