it's not really hard to do, but it would be a horrendous amount of work to get going.

what I would envisage (and this is just a suggestion by the way) is to take it to the next stage in terms of entertainment/toy value. Put cameras and let the pilot fly these things via virtual reality glasses and you can play out real live dog fights and have video streams to record it all, or we could have formation flying with 4, 10, 20 or even hundreds of participants, of course the problem would be some of them will get damaged and all, but isn't that what happens in real life?
