I have 10 total and I dont think thats enough

I need to bump it up to 12 batts.

You can safely charge batteries of different capacities in parallel at the same time without fear of overcharging the smaller capacity cells. When calculating what charge current to use, add up the capacity of the cells and use that as the "C".

Double check what parallel charging lead you get. I thought I was buying one for the mCPX batteries but it ended up being for the mCX size connectors.

LOL I charge 6 batteries for my MCPX in 15 minutes. I fly out the 6 batteries then put them on the charger while I fly out my 6 batteries for my plane

I have been using the xtreme products series balance cable. It can be purchased at heli direct and works awesome. Unlike charging in parralell my packs dont have to be close to the same voltage and each pack is fully charged. Its leaps and bpunds better then charging in parralell. I have 3 charge leads so can charge/balance 9 packs on my chargers.

flmgrip,
If you plug all six batteries in, then you can treat it as a 6 x 300 mAh pack or 1,800 mAh pack. So, 1C would be 1.8 A, 2C would be 3.6 A, etc.

A little to the right and down!

^ Yup, I do it all the time, just try to keep like capacity batteries together.

I also lucked out and bought a bunch of the HK specials, but did a bit better when I got mine. I think mine ran $2.63 (not counting shipping) and I got two of the 1 to six charging cables for a dollar and change.

Works like a charm.....

If it ain't broke, go fly some more!
