You may have to run some delay on the gyro with that servo.That servo isn't really designed for that and probably can't respond to the gyro's inputs fast enough so tail isn't happy and you may need to run delay on that gyro to compensate for that. If you were to look on here and pick up a used tail servo like a FUT9650 or 9257 better yet, or a JR3400 or a 3500 better yet, or an Align 520 you would be better off and happy and you don't need to run any delay with these servos. They are all pretty fast responding and made for this purpose.
One more thing to try you may have to move your ball either in or out on the servo arm with what you have now to get it to work right. Try these suggestions first. My best guess is you may need to go out on the ball as it may need more throw to compensate for the slower responce of that servo. The servo is hunting when you back it right down on the gain as it can't quite keep up with the gyro's commands. Usually it won't do it when you go down just when you go up to high on the gain.
