Has anyone managed to successfully re-program the centre/neutral position on a Hitec HS-7940TH digital servo? I tried doing this on my Aurora 90N rather than using sub-trim, but now the swash rocks back and forth slightly as I increase/decrease collective pitch. I have subsequently reset them back to factory defaults and re-trimmed, now everything is fine again!

Any suggestions? It seems that by altering the neutral point, it is affecting my CCPM

After resetting the the center are you resetting both sides of the end points?

Yes, after setting the neutral point, I also set the left and right end-points. I have to confess though that these were not set evenly from centre, i.e. I set them up to prevent any binding of the control arms.

They should only be off by 1us if it's set right. Use the S-Test Manual testing to see if it is set correctly. I would also use the Tx. to set servo travel.

Something certainly isn't right... the AIL/PIT servos seem ok, it is only the ELE servo that is about 2mm out from min/max pitch (> 1us).

Let me try again tomorrow.

Thanks for the help
