Did any of you guys see what Apple reported? They just broke through 100 billion dollars cash in their bank account. They sold 37.04 million iPhones in three months and the earning per share where over $13 vs. $10 estimate.

Stock jumped over $25 in after market trading and picked at $40 at one point. WOW!

Read all about it.

Those evil capitalist pigs need to be punished for making a profit. They need to give some (all of it) back to the people they took it from. After all it is only right. How Un-American of Apple.

Because they want gas in the USA to be the same as in Europe.

About $6 to $8 per gallon.

They could get their wish.

Taxes alone in the USA are much higher than that. In fact, the USA is the 2nd highest corporate taxed country in the world with Japan being number 1.

Thats just one of the reasons they are made in Asian countries.

Get real.

If Apple were truly trying to avoid taxes in this country, then they wouldn't be based here. It's just cheaper labor to build an Ipad (or nearly ANYTHING ELSE) in China due to the SUPER LOW labor rates.

I'd like to see the data regarding the $80 in China vs. $85 in USA manufacturing pricing. I don't think the comparison is even close. Those numbers may just be the labor costs to make one, not the entire costs for the materials + labor, though.

I'm glad you're taking sides with the Communists now Dennis. The reason that companies go to China is labor not taxes. Over there you can have a worker work for 12 hours and just give them a bowl of rice at the end of the day, so to speak. But don't you worry, that is changing soon. Labor is waking up there too. Remember the Honda strike in Southeastern China in May of 2010? It's all going to equalize very soon.

Now I know you don't read intellectual news papers, since you characterize them as, how did you put it, "rags" or some sort. But here is the article for your enjoyment.

Its directly related to high taxes in the USA and burdensome regulations.

Cheap, untrained, unskilled labor comes at a price. Ask any business owner how high that price can be.

Thats possible. But, it won't be anytime soon. They don't have the same freedoms as we have. They also don't have unions with thug, punk union members.
Now I know you don't read intellectual news papers
There is only one way I can respond to that:

Watch it because I might be one of them.

You can't offend Unions like that. Protection of labor's rights is paramount in country that is all about the 1%ers. If you don't have opposition then you are running a Dictatorship and that's what the bosses want. Balance is everything and balance only comes through dialogue and negotiations with opposing parties.

Well, the union bosses donate millions upon million to the Democrats.

They don't negotiate with their members about that.

You are so misinformed and it's obvious that you know nothing about unions. The members approve the contributions.

Cheers.
