Doesn't look that bad
, having the main frame break is to be expected with plastic.

You'll be back up before long

Somehow I lost the signal, I think it was because of voltage drop but my friend thinks it was the reg. going out.

Not to start a debate, but that is pretty bad damage for a raptor as the mains are typically very durable.

Anyways, I never seen a break like that with the main frames. Heck both of them are broke. That heli needs some significant repairs. I would probably shelf that heli and fix over the winter if I get motivated. Beyond the frames, theres probably a bunch of other parts damaged such as boom, tail, main shaft, belt, and on. Take your time during the repair.

save what you can and get a new or used kit. I had a heli chicken dance on me and it was cheaper and easier to just get a new kit.

I've balled up my Raptors too many times to count, and I've never seen the frame break where it did with yours. How did it go in? The boom looks straight I don't understand how it can go in in such a manner to save the boom and the main frame break there. It's pretty beefy at that point.

Oh man. Sorry to see that. Might be worth finding another Raptor and using yours for spares.

Still am unsure as to the real reason the R50 went in. I plan on changing the Fromeco to prefect reg. Drop the push glow and go back to the way it was before I added the push glow and li-po's.

Yes, I got it put back together (THANK YOU HELI770) Had it not been for Art, this heli would be on the back shelf, the WAY back shelf.

I saw the way it went in and it was kinda level but most of the impact was to the left skid. Only the top part of the frame was busted up, the bottom part was still intact.

Fly bar
Frame
boom
Servos gears
Spindle

TOTAL COST...Priceless

Will post pics of crash parts later

Thank you again Art. Great guy there

That is heavy duty.

I still have a raptor and the main frame is original. It has hit the ground so many times in so many ways that the landing gear is zip tied in, because the screw holes are two sizes to big.

Anyway, I feel your pain.

That's one thing I am puzzled about is the damage to the frame. I have piled this heli in, my friend eric_b has piled it in many times(original owner) and never busted the frames like this.

Most of the damage was around the top of the main frame.

The boom is in good shape considering what the frame looks like.
